USA Science & Engineering Festival by WILL
The simulators were fun.

Today we did something unique. We went to the USA Science & Engineering Festival. It's unique because it only happens every two years. I understand why. It probably takes two years to coordinate everything!
The festival took up five separate halls and had every thing from virtual welding to a Caterpillar exhibit and a whole hall dedicated to advanced aeronautics.
They have many famous companies that have exhibits, like Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin, to name a few. It's sort of like a fair with booths, except instead of dunking booths and pop the balloon, it's robotics and lasers.
The simulators they had were a cockpit demonstration of the F-35 Lightning, the F-22 Falcon, and the F-16 Falcon.
They also had a giant Construction Truck, an excavator, and another multiple purpose simulator.
A cool thing that Northrop Grumman had was that you could control a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) that you could pilot using the internet.
The next festival is in 2016, in case you're wondering. Another thing to know is that it's the biggest science convention in the world. It's only one weekend. I recommend taking a break from school and taking people to see it, because it's totally worth it! Please consider it.
