Disney Animation

Today we woke up at 6:30 A.M., to get to a class about animation and the art of Disney. When we got there, we were dropped off by my dad and we went into Disney's Hollywood studios. As soon as we walked in, we saw a large circle of flowers with broomsticks with buckets and in the center, to top it off, was Mickey with a magician's hat with stars and moons.
My mom said, "Dad would love this." The scene is from Fantasia, my dad's favorite Disney movie. Mom took our picture with it and sent it to dad.
Early morning class
After a couple minutes of waiting, our teacher appeared and introduced himself as Frank. He gave us name tags and showed us in. We learned the steps required to create a Disney film and in what order they're used. We also learned about Walt Disney, his first animation (a rabbit), his failures, his successes, how Disney World was created, and the things he wanted to do.
The class wasn't very bad, though I was tired because I walked about two miles last night all over The Magic Kingdom.
We drew a sketch of Mickey Mouse. We also saw a show about Walt Disney's life and about his ideas about Disney World and Disneyland.
My favorite part was when we got to sketch Mickey Mouse and learn about how much effort it takes to make a Disney movie.
It takes 24 pictures to create one second of animation and 129,600 pictures for a 90-minute movie. It can take three to five years to make a full length movie.
