Will, Callie, Mom, Dad and I went to Washington, D.C., for our home school adventure.  We went there for a month.  We stayed in the Penn Quarter part of Washington.  We went on the trip for fun and to learn about Washington, D.C.

We went to a museum that had Lincoln's original top hat, but we didn't know where it was until we asked the guard outside but it was too late to go back inside it to see it.

We visited The Presidency exhibit at American History.

We went to an Orioles' game with my cousin, Jack, on his birthday.  It was really fun, because Jack was there. The Orioles didn't win, though.  But Jack had lots of fun anyway. Uncle Kevin drove us home.

Grandma and Grandpa visited, and we saw places where the National Treasure movies were filmed:  the National Archives, the Lincoln Memorial, the Library of Congress, the Washington Monument, and Mount Vernon.

All the things we looked at absolutely looked like they did in the movies. My favorite was Mount Vernon, it was pretty cool.  Because we saw the coolest part of the movie right there, where they (SPOILER ALERT) move an axe into its proper place and it opened up a secret passageway.

My two favorite things were the National Air & Space Museum and doing an Easter Egg hunt with my cousins Jack, Maggie and Ellie.  At the Air & Space museum, we saw Amelia Earhart's plane!  And after the Easter Egg hunt, we got candy!
